Kaspersky seems to be the best for actually cleaning the 0 day crap that I'm seeing constantly though.
Honestly, I've just been going with removing Java from machines, making sure Adobe Flash is kept up to date, using an alternative to Adobe Reader and just running MSE. I have *almost* made the jump to no AV at all. With Firefox (autoupdates), Noscript (autoupdates), and the removal of the problem plugin's the risk is quite low IMO.
