I think I may have a dead core in a C2D-E8400. Is this a normal expectation? Both the Task Mgr and CPUZ seem to confirm this. No, I have no clue when this happened................... :(
I think I am at about 4yrs of use. Yes, I do use the supplied hs-fan from Intel.
I now have to dig thru records to find actual purchase date for this chip. It is fall, so, this is pretty normal! Duncan
