Been out of the loop for a little. Pacbell shut down my e-mail account without notice some time ago and I just got around to rejoining the group.
Latest project was migrating my home automation stuff (was doing misterhouse) to a veralite controller (based on OpenWRT) and getting camera's, squeezebox's, X10 and z-wave stuff all tied in. Veralite is marketed as a controller that does it all, but it is not. Most of the plugins including x-10 and 1-wire require extra hardware and a lot of tweaking to get running right. Just about done though. Automation list includes -3 IP cameras -lots of x10 modules for power/lights through mochad (controller CM15A on pogoplug) -z-wave deadbolt -z-wave fire alarm hack - 1-wire temperature sensors around the house through OWServer 1-wire to ethernet - motion sensors lopaka
