I use 3 objects. Eset Endpoint A/V v5.0.2126.0, MalwareBytes free, and,
the mvps hosts file. http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm
I scan weekly, or, whenever with the Eset 'smart scan.'
I scan monthly, or, whenever with MalwareBytes.
And, I update the mvps hosts file each time a new version comesout.
I have seen no visible infections since 2006.
