It's got a lot of info in it. Reading through the Make Magazine reviews, the main issue seems to be print quality. Pretty much all the models reviewed had some issue or another with the test prints. If you're doing "art" pieces, they're fine. But if you're making mechanical components, I got the impression that they're not quite there yet to print high precision parts that fit together, rotate, slide, mesh, etc. > Are we just a few years away from seeing a sub-$500 printer at BestBuy? If you don't need high quality or a large volume, I'd say we'll see that pretty soon.
