Seems as there's a bug in binutils 2.15: http://lists.debian.org/debian-gcc/2005/07/msg00132.html And the part of the changes that causes the problem is "removing -march=pentium3 from make.include file". Maybe, it's worth to upgrade binutils on the build server? Or I can change the patch to remove the march option only for x86_64 platform.
