JUDAICA LIBRARIAN (SEARCH REOPENED) @ TOURO COLLEGE (full-time)
Responsibilities. Will spend the first year primarily cataloging a Judaica collection in a fast-paced environment. Duties include: copy and modified copy cataloging of new print and non-print materials using OCLC; retrospective conversion of print collections; authority work; edit OPAC records. Will provide library services for the faculty and students of Touro College's Graduate School of Jewish Studies. Duties include: general and specialized reference service; coordinate circulation, external document delivery, referral services; participate in a formal library instruction program; manage collection development. Qualifications. An MLS from an ALA accredited program a must. Knowledge of online bibliographic databases, electronic reference sources, and Web capabilities a must. Knowledge of Hebrew and Judaica a must. OCLC experience desirable.
