We've been weeding the back room stacks in our very large synagogue library. We've many old, never-used books in duplicate and even triplicate. Our plan was to sell them for a dollar or so to congregants, but first we are checking out values on the used-book websites. I've been very suprised to find that many are priced at $50.00 and above. Still, we haven't the space to keep them, they are duplicates of what we have, and we certainly couldn't ask anything approaching the stated values on the websites like alibris. Offering them on ebay would require that we package and mail them to buyers - not gonna happen. I would appreciate hearing the thoughts of anyone with experience in this area. Thank you, Andrea
