Hi everyone -- I recently joined this list at the advice of my brother, who said I may be able to get some advice from you -- my undergraduate degree is in journalism, I am in my last semester of my MLS program and plan on taking a course in indexing in a couple of months and on top of that, am planning to make aliyah in the summer of 2008. In the meantime I am trying to gather professional contacts and try to determine what the job market is like in Israel in the fields of librarianship and/or publishing, especially for someone who is still working on learning Hebrew? Any advice or contact names anyone can give me would be very helpful!
