We are developing a policy for disposal of dedicated items. Currently, we use our discretion, cut the dedication plaque from the book/DVD and put the item in our annual book sale. We would be very interested in learning how other librarians deal with this issue. Do you commit to keeping the item for X # of years? Thanks.
