Hi there Safranim We have a new librarian, Devis Iosefzon, from Israel, at our very vibrant Jewish communal Library - the Jacob Gitlin Library - under the auspices of the Western Province Zionist Council in Cape Town. They use a simplified Dewey system of classification, and a very rudimentary computerized system for searching and for lending. Devis would like to introduce subject headings but feels that Library of Congress headings would be an overkill. Can you make any other suggestions?
