Oversee library budget to support specific program goals. Oversee all selection, acquisition, processing, and circulation of general and Judaic resources. Partner with other faculty members to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, proficient users of a variety of media, and ethical consumers of information. Encourage the use of instructional technology to engage students and to improve learning, providing continual access to digital information resources for the entire learning community. Collaborate with teachers to provide resources for lesson integration. Teach information literacy skills in formal and informal settings. Maintain a supportive and engaging library environment that is conducive to student learning. Promote the library and the use of its resources within the community. Manage school's media server with regards to content and copyright considerations. Understand copyright, fair use, and ethical use of information, and assist faculty and students with their understanding and observance of these policies.
