My name is Charlene Saportin-Disler. I am a librarian who moved to Rockville, MD about 5 years ago. I am seeking employment in the library field in the District of Columbia or Maryland/Virginia area. I have a variety of academic credentials and advanced credits in education as well as a library science masters degree. My previous employment includes children/adult reference library positions; public library employment, work in academic libraries with some employment in Jewish librarianship. Because of my education/work experience I offer to the library the ability to develop supplemental patron programs and deal with varied populations as well as special needs groups. I have a special interest in Jewish libraries and would appreciate information related to job opportunities in the immediate locale with general library/Jewish library focus.
