Shalom,
I’m grateful to the librarians that volunteered to serve as mentors to new
librarians that are new on the job or to untrained library staff/volunteers.
We need a few more volunteers so the burden will not tall always on the same
people or in case that current volunteers are not available.
When I get a call for a mentor, I will match the caller with a volunteer from
the same type library, hopefully located at the same coast. The volunteer will
be expected to answer questions over the phone or via email.
A part of AJL mission is: to be a community of peer support and professional
development.
