Dear Gail, Mazel-tov, *kol ha-kavod,* and *yasher-koyekh* on being selected the 2024 Fanny Goldstein Merit Award recipient. As stated in the message below by 2024 FGMA Chair and 2023 FGMA recipient, Rachel Leket-Mor, you are a most worthy winner of this award. Your many years of contributions to, and hard work in, AJL and to promote Judaica and general librarianship, Judaica in general and, of course, to your longtime institution, LC, are admirable. In recent years, of particular note, is your hard work on the AJL Conference Support Committee, along with Lenore Bell.
It's been a pleasure knowing you during the three and a half decades of our membership in AJL. I still recall meeting you at my first AJL annual conference more than 30 years ago—hard to believe all that time has passed!—and look forward to seeing you again in San Diego in June. Congratulations and best wishes always, Elliot *Elliot H. Gertel* *עלע־הערש גערטל / אליהו־צבי גרטל * *Irving M.
