Just wanted to say "Thanks!" for the work on Gofer, and now Hugs.
I'm still just a beginner in functional programming, having first
started learning ML on my Sun at home, and more recently Gofer at
work, having given up the home Sun. One of my long term projects
is to get Yale Haskell up on my Symbolics machines at home, but that
will be a ways off.
I've approached Gofer as a sort of "Turbo Haksell", and it's been
great for speeding up the learning process. In fact, I'm nearly
finished with my first program, which will at least be "functional"
(i.e. useful to me), if not functional. :-)
