OK, I'd assume that if they were to make UFS the default they'd start
by picking up the latest version from FreeBSD (like they did for
Panther). That one uses 64-bit block pointers, and while all the
userland tools haven't been upgraded yet they'd be rolling their own
anyway.
Not doing that would be hateful, of course, and on topic.
