No, I meant the cron kind.  Imagine if every bit of software you
installed on a Unix/Linux system came with its own special version of
cron.  This is what happens on Windows.

Its probably because on windows most things that would run under cron
under *nix run as services.

Services are hateful in their own right so i wont say more here.
