Ah. The second opened _this_ page, however rather than opening it in a new tab in my existing Firefox window (like the first did), it opened a brand new Window for it -- nicely hidden behind my other windows, so I didn't realize it was there: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+sources/pidgin/+gethelp How convenient.
