Yeah, and I don't see the point of using something at the XMMS feature level. I used to have bmp around until I noticed that I never used it any more because I'd make a terminal window and launch mplayer instead -- less hassle, no GUI, and I don't care about the missing "features", it turns out. > mplayer? don't start. Mplayer is tolerable not because it's actually good, but by virtue of passively sucking in easily ignored ways -- unlike all the other players that actively shove their suckage in my face.
