HCatalog has a number of binary data files checked into the source tree for use
in tests. These files should be generated when running tests rather than
checking in the generated files.
Examples:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/hcatalog/trunk/src/test/e2e/hcatalog/data/
Background: during 0.5.0 release candidate testing these files were called out
by the release audit report as not having Apache headers. This lead to a
discussion about why the files are checked in in the first place, and it was
agreed they should be generated when running tests.
