To help the co-op avoid ending up in debt because of members who
disappear without notice, our Board of Directors has voted to accept the
new payment policy detailed here:

As a supplement to the information on that page, we also want to
announce that we're making the month of March a grace period, when we
won't cut off service for members who are eligible for such treatment
under the new policy but not the old. If your balance was negative even
under the old policy, though, be prepared for your account to be
disabled soon.
I'm just about to start a manual run of our payment reminder robot,
which will send personalized e-mails to everyone who is within two
months of having a negative balance under the new policy. This robot
will then resume running automatically at the start of every month.
