Nominations are due for board candidates by the end of the month. Please visit http://wiki.hcoop.net/Election2008 to nominate candidates (you may nominate yourself!) or to accept a nomination if someone else nominated you. All nominations are due by the end of the month to give time to finalize and review the ballot before the election begins on April 4.
Also, I encourage candidates who have accepted their nominations to edit that wiki page to add a statement of some sort to introduce yourself and your positions to members. Please do this as soon as possible; you can always revise it later (up until the end of the month, after that point the page will be frozen and any further discussion or statements can continue elsewhere). Right now there have only been five candidates nominated for five spots. There will need to be additional candidates nominated to give the membership a real field of candidates to choose from, so I would encourage all members to consider whether they would like to run or if there is another member you would like to see running.
