Will wb_view start without loading a scene file? Which version of wb_view are you using (File Menu —> About wb_view)?
How was the scene file created? In wb_view or by a script? If you upload your scene file at http://brainvis.wustl.edu/cgi-bin/upload.cgi, I can try to determine the cause of the problem.
