Hi Barbara,
it’s just an unexpected change. Happy to have a releases/hdf5-1.8/ but that
should then have all the 1.8 releases.
Could you do the following?
1) move all the 1.8 releases to releases/hdf5-1.8/ now
2) link back the folders releases/hdf5-1.8/hdf5-1.8.{0..17} to releases/ to
current links don’t get broken.
Then you can remove the links releases/hdf5-1.8.{0..17} after an appropriate
deprecation warning.
You could just make the symbolic links the other way around (linking
releases/hdf5-1.8/hdf5-1.8.{0..17} to releases/hdf5-1.8.{0..17}) but you will
need to move the folders eventually so better to do it earlier.
Either choice take less than 5 minutes.
All I care about is a simple logic for our continuous integration script to
predict where the release tar balls are going to be.
Cheers,
Andrea
