Suresh, I just asked him what his use case and applications were because I'm 
curious =)  I'm not opposed to this change, per all my discussion you pointed 
out I think a C-binding for the WEBHDFS API is useful, in fact I think doing 
this in libhdfs makes more sense than fuse-dfs.
