HI [~wheat9],
Thanks for your review and comments. The main goal of this jira is to support
pull data from insecure cluster to secure cluster, which is not the same as you
assumed. You can only issue the distcp command at the secure cluster side.
However, it also works when you try to copy data from secure cluster to insure
cluster, as long as you issue the command from the secure cluster side. So I
think your comment 1 is not relevant here. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
About the comment 2, canRefreshDelegationToken is set to false for insecure
cluster, thus WebHdfsFileSystem will not issue a GET_DELEGAtTION_TOKEN request
for each request. See method {{protected synchronized Token<?>
getDelegationToken() }}.
