I'm not sure what you refer to. Copying between secure and insecure clusters is
a valid use case. What I have been saying that {{WebHdfsFileSystem}} is not the
right place to change since the use case and having a security breach becomes
indistinguishable.
For this use case you might need to look at changing distcp or to ask the
insecure cluster to issue dummy token.
