The PCC Secretariat is offering a NACO Online Training Workshop.  Please see 
below for more details.



NACO Online Training Workshop 2025



The NACO Online Training Workshop will provide introductory training on 
foundational NACO concepts to empower participants to contribute effectively to 
NACO.  The training will be primarily asynchronous, with live webinars 
scaffolded by self-study modules to enhance learning. To participate fully, 
registrants should ensure they have access to Google Drive. The webinars will 
be recorded and led by experienced NACO contributors. The webinar presenters 
will discuss recent MARC and NACO policy updates, demonstrate how to use NACO 
documentation, and review NACO practices through hands-on activities.  For all 
sessions, Original RDA will be used.  Additionally, we are offering two 
optional webinars: a demonstration of the Authority Toolkit and an introduction 
to some of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging NACO-related task groups.

Self-study Modules



Self-study modules will be interspersed between the live webinars and will 
provide self-directed learning opportunities for participants.  Participants 
should plan on spending 4 hours between webinars completing module lessons and 
exercises on Google Drive.  Each module focuses on the content in the upcoming 
live webinar to prepare participants for active and deep engagement in the live 
sessions. A shared document will also be made available for participants to ask 
training questions.
