what I meant was that the USB framework calls it, not the individual USB 
device drivers. It's fine and there is not an alternative for that, yet.




The other problem I found around USB is exemplifed by mkbd application. It 
uses usb_resolve_device_handle() (I believe this allows you to specify the 
device using the USB-specific bus/device format) and gives you a devman 
device handle. So in this case you cannot go straight via loc_service_
connect() because you have a device handle, not a service ID. Sure, you can 
convert one to the other, but I am not convinced this is the right approach.
