thank you for your information. I have forwarded your email to the
HelenOS development mailing list in order to inform other HelenOS
developers. Thanks for the appreciation of our work. I have really
nothing against your fork -- after all, this is the spirit of open
source. However, renaming the kernel in your fork is indeed advisable,
to avoid any possible confusion.
Since your goals are clearly different than the goals of HelenOS, I wish
you good luck with your project and hope that maybe we could "unfork"
the two projects again some day in the future.
Just one question out of curiosity: Why did you choose HelenOS 0.5.0 as
the basis of your fork? They are some improvements and fixes even to the
PowerPC-related code in the latest HelenOS 0.6.0.
