What do you mean "sticks"? The above zeroes out one stick; you have two? > Installed my system with grub etc (I done this procedure many times). > > I ran the bootinfoscript from within my chroot. > You did not say which device is what. > # cat RESULTS.txt & tree -d /boot > http://paste.debian.net/284076 > Well, --><-- To be able to see for which directory Grub2 (v1.99) looks for, install "xz" or "lzma". ..><-- So one interesting part is missing. Could you describe what you did in some more details. > # grub-install --debug --recheck --root-directory=/ /dev/sdb Are you doing it when booted from /dev/sda? Sorry, you really need to give step by step description what you do. Copy-paste of all commands after boot would probably be the best. I really do not understand your configuration. > http://paste.debian.net/284077/ > > Attempting Boot From USB DriveKey (C:) > error: disk > `lvmid/zHVr7i-nKrH-SdtG-yeVC-b3vc-2aiE-Hh8J5z/dqoj63-31d9-Fltl-4BXd- > CrqZ-9qAV-CY2yOe' not found. > Entering rescue mode... > grub rescue> ls -l > error: disk > `lvmid/zHVr7i-nKrH-SdtG-yeVC-b3vc-2aiE-Hh8J5z/dqoj63-31d9-Fltl-4BXd- > CrqZ-9qAV-CY2yOe' not found. > grub rescue> ls -i > error: disk > `lvmid/zHVr7i-nKrH-SdtG-yeVC-b3vc-2aiE-Hh8J5z/dqoj63-31d9-Fltl-4BXd- > CrqZ-9qAV-CY2yOe' not found. > grub rescue> ls > (hd0) (hd0,msdos1) (hd1) (hd1,msdos1) > grub rescue> ls -l > error: disk > `lvmid/zHVr7i-nKrH-SdtG-yeVC-b3vc-2aiE-Hh8J5z/dqoj63-31d9-Fltl-4BXd- > CrqZ-9qAV-CY2yOe' not found. > grub rescue> > > Still the same problems? > > _______________________________________________ > Help-grub mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-grub _______________________________________________ Help-grub mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-grub
