after sudo system reconfigure ... MATE desktop does not work anymore

Hi,

I updated my packages
and after that I did a
sudo guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm

and MATE Desktop does not start properly.

So there is no GUI interface more for the application launcher.

It starts but the whole application launcher with all the packages and menus showing up, doesn´t come up any more. It always wants to start, but can´t.
