Guess I'll add my 2c here. Other alternatives:
1. Put sbin inside bin: /bin/sbin 2. Put sbin inside etc: /etc/sbin Apps dir: /apps /local/apps Put include inside /lib: /lib/include or Make a /os dir and then /os/lib /os/include Really though, the *NIX directory tree was pretty well thought out, and these silly changes would really only be for aesthetic purposes. I think if the administrator wants to modify their directory tree then it should be their perogative. This kind of thing is an ideal job for a Hurdish translator. Don't like the default tree? Make a translator and map it however you like ;-) However, there has to be some kind of common scenario if you want to be able to install a pre-rolled package of some type. _______________________________________________ Help-hurd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-hurd
