Vinay, If I was happy to have half as many "up and over" straps tied down to the play, could I simply run those straps up over the roof seams where the cloth seam is on the inside? Seems like a reasonable trade off if 6 or 8 tie downs seem enough. I won't ask you to endorse using fewer tie downs, but I'd be pretty confortable with 6 hefty 18 inch spikes holding my hexayurt down.
Do you have any advice on cloth hinges? I'm seriously tempted to use construction adhesive and heavy denim or canvas for hinges. Any advice?
