you may want to do a prototype before putting too much work into putting
the foil on them, etc.  i am not sure if a 1/2 inch panel has the rigidity
to hold up on its own.

also, you could simply have a camo net / shade over your hexayurt and it
would save what seems like a lot of labor to glue mylar sheets to the
foamboard.

a prototype of a panel, then push on it, see how strong it is, even just a
couple of panels put together hexayurt style.
