Yeah, assembly time is one of the big reasons why I have decided for a
hexayurt this time around. It sounds like there is room to design an easier
to assemble, portable geodome.

I've wondered if instead of using a crane, if you could use some carefully
place 4+ hydraulic jacks with special fittings on them that would prevent
the dome from slipping. But I am not sure how much of the improvements of
the top-down build come from it being suspended versus supported from below.

Would also be useful to figure out how to cut down on the amount of time
required to bolt and unbolt things.

Clearly too many new ideas for this year ;)
