True.. However I know that won't happen.. According to them, there isn't a bug either. At any rate, I'm not interested in assigning blame for MS's crummy driver, I've basically got a solution, and would like to share it with others so they don't go through the same frustration that I did.
I can slap it up on SourceForge, but because the code has direct dependency on Hibernate classes, and relies on working with a static method of Hibernate, ie, is pretty coupled, so it seemed like a good fit on hibernate extensions.. (It seemed like ehcache would have been another good candidate!). but if not, I can put it up on SF.net and maybe just get a link from hibernate's FAQ on MSSQL..
