Abu Qatadah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates: I heard Rasullullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam saying: If anyone likes that Allah should save him from the anxieties of the Day of Resurrection, he should grant respite (in paying back a loan) to one who is in constraints, or forgo the debt. (Muslim)
