Must be something like that indeed, perhaps somebody else can shed some light
on it, because I am not to much into war deployment. But, anyway, clearing the
Cocoon cache where the compiled xslt's are in, wouldn't result in the new
stylesheets AFAICS. Probably, just the old ones would be compiled again

Yes, I'm pretty sure we replaced the file. We even tried to touch the file and
the directory it was in. I guess it is something with war deployment on JBoss,
that JBoss didn't see that the file was changed in its temp directory where the
war is unpacked.

When an xslt is changed on disk, Cocoon will reload it. Are you really sure you
placed them correct? I am quite confident that it works correctly, just a you
are used to during development.

Ard

Because we've changed the file on disk, but it wasn't refreshed in Cocoon. I
thought, maybe by clearing the xslt cache it would read it again from disk.

For now, we are making a new release with the change, so it isn't necessary
anymore.

Thanks,

No, this is not possible.

Also, I am not sure what you would gain from it: if Jboss does not refresh the
xslt, then after clearing the cache, you would get the old xslt's back again.
When an xslt has changed, the cached stylesheet will be replaced by the newer
one. So, why would clearing this cache solve anything? Perhaps i am missing
something.

Is it possible to clear the xslt cache in Hippo? I've found the cocoon status
page and the right JCSDefaultStore which contains the xslts but I found no way
of clearing it. The reason I ask this is that Jboss doesn't auto refresh the
xslts extracted in its tmp/deploy directory.
