How are other hospitals transporting "fresh" tissue specimens from operating rooms to the Pathology Frozen Section room for an intraoperative consultation? Occasionally, we get specimens delivered on "towels" and I don't think this is appropriate. I think they should be in a container that can be sealed along with the appropriate patient identification.
