Richard MOPEC has an item called pathport it's about the size of a tool box that what we used to use to carry frozen sections from the surgery to pathology.

Occasionally, we get specimens delivered on "towels" and I don't think this is appropriate. I think they should be in a container that can be sealed along with the appropriate patient identification.
