Most of my staff put them against their waterbath or hold them in a tray for
some time. For the tech that place them directly on the trays we usually angel
the tray and jut use a kimwipe to remove the water at the bottom of the slide
before putting it on the stainer. We do not place them in an oven prior to
staining mostly due to process and oven space. But it really is what ever
works for each institution.
