I think they usually include negative tissue in the TMA's. Check with Biomax on your specific slides.

I sent an identical slide to our reference lab and the staining matches my own. Since it's the first time I've worked with TMA slides, am I missing something obvious? Are the tissue cores generally prepared in the same fashion? Any reasons why I'm seeing inconsistent staining of tissue that should all be positive?
