I appreciate your and Garry’s fix, Sander. However, I feel that I’m clearly missing something important here, as I can’t find “steam->Cleanup(&steamError);” or “SteamAPI_Shutdown” in my repository. The latter I don’t see a single trace of in 2007’s CHLClient::Shutdown.
