Valve got involved at some point during the creation process and now it is soley a Valve Game with Cliff as the Lead Designer or Project Guru. Same thing with DOD and several other mods. And Valve still is one the very best Supporting companies out there... now if they would reply to my question about 'HL2 Retail/Back Catalog' I would be exstatic.
