Thanks for that Mikee, I've now tried ^hl://   ^hlds://  and ^hl1://  but
none of those seem to work :(
Looks like I may have to use your  index.html in my folder as a temp measure
until I can find out if
I can get it working.   I don't see why it shouldn't work, I just need to
know what it is that goes in front of the
IP for HL1.    Anyway thanks for your response.   Anyone got any ideas
please?

I'm guessing that it might work to duplicate the line you have for HL2
server IP, only change the second line to ^hl:// (or to ^hl1://) along
with
the other IP.  Again, this is just me guessing....if it even works with HL

Hi this works great for my HL2 server, but I use the same webserver
folder
for storing the fast download maps for my HL1 server too.  Can anyone
tell
me what I need to add to the .htaccess file to allow both my HL2 server
and
HL1 server players to fast download the maps?
