All I know is:

I upgraded my server box specifically for a large scale DoD server. 52
players and running great. And now I'm not allowed to anymore.

No, somewhere on that site it specifically said "*255 players*"
There are references to 32 players multiplayer and 255 players in single
pplayer, but I have quote the document on this list before, maybe somebody
can find it.
