Hi! We're currently in talks with our sponsor regarding a major upgrade (actually, a replacement) of our current servers.
Our sponsor (and also our host) proposes a set of ProLiant DL145 G2 Opteron-based servers. Full specs can be seen via the link below: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12206_div/12206_div.html The proposed server type is the model 377884-xx1 (2.0GHz/1MB Opteron 246, 1GB RAM, 80GB NHP SATA). Does anyone on this list have any idea of the performance of this particular server e.g. the number of possible simultaneous instances of HLDS (mainly CS servers) and SRCDS (mainly CS:S servers). I'm primarily thinking of 16 slot servers. The OS will most probably be some Windows 2003 Server flavor. Looking forward to your input! Thanks in advance!
