Hi Andreas,

It's weird that your process kills all the content it had already
downloaded. Are you sure this is right? Mine received the Winsock error,
however only aborted that single file (same .vvd file funnily enough).

Upon re-running the updatetool, it resumed from that .vvd file, and
finished the entire process shortly after.

I get this error since hours.

Valve, it would be nice, when the hldsupdatetool would try to redownload
the
file instead of aborting the complete installation. I have to check my
server every 30 minutes.
